Introduction to Managing Safely: Trainer’s job is to provide the importance of managing health and safety and to give awareness about Responsibilities of managers and supervisors and to provide a brief about the basic terms and definition of IOSH
Assessing Risks: Define what is risk, How to conduct a risk assessment at workplace and identifying workplace hazards on given site (Construction & General Industry).
Controlling Risks: The hierarchy of risk control, Choosing effective risk control measures and Practical applications of risk control
Understanding Responsibilities: Health and safety laws and regulations, Employer and employee legal responsibilities and Consequences of non-compliance
IOSH Course and Final Assessment at the end of the Course
Understanding Hazards: Give awareness and understanding of Common workplace hazards (physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic, etc.) and hazards which cause harm and Risk reduction techniques at a given situation.
Investigating Incidents: The importance of incident investigation, Steps of an accident investigation and Identifying root causes and corrective actions
Measuring Performance: How to conduct active and reactive monitoring at a given situaion, Health and safety audits and inspections and Key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety at a given site (Construction & General Industry).
Protecting the Environment: Environmental management in the workplace, Reducing waste and pollution and Sustainable work practices.
Examination/Assessment System of IOSH: There are Multiple-choice questions in Examination (Written Format) and there are Practical risk assessment project for submission at the end of one Week Practical/theory Training.
